I am pleased to announce Randakk's Approved Honda GL1000 / GL1100 / GL1200 / CBX / CX500 Carb Rebuilder Program.

Due to the growth of my business and the time required to develop unique products for the GL1000, GL1100, GL1200, CBX, CX500 and other vintage bikes, I have been unable to meet the demand for my services as a carb rebuilder.

My standard fee is $695 for GL1000 carbs ($795 for GL1100 carbs and $895 for CBX carbs) and includes all the normal items needed for a proper overhaul to exacting standards plus several proprietary modifications I've developed. This is a handsome sum, but reasonable considering considering my expertise and the time required to turn out consistent high quality work that performs like new ... actually a bit better than new given the mods I make. However, due to a heavy backlog, I am not accepting additional work at this time and probably won't be for the foreseeable future.

Here's a way to get more immediate relief. You can now have professional rebuild your carbs via a Randakk's Approved Honda GL1000 / GL1100 / GL1200 / CBX / CX500 Carb Rebuilder. You can trust your carbs to any of these folks as I have rigorously vetted their capabilities.

Pete is a real wiz with GoldWing carbs. Pete has developed a proprietary mod to address the problem of an inconsistent fuel ratio mixture at idle speeds and up to 1/8 throttle that plagues many early 'Wings.

I'm bound by a non-disclosure agreement and can't reveal his method, but I can attest that it is a very good solution that improves low-speed performance to better than OEM new.

You must send your carb rack to Pete for him to implement this as part of a comprehensive overhaul.
