NGK Spark Plug Caps for Honda GL1000 and GL1100 (early)

 

These are the spark plug caps I run on my show bike Marilyn in the Gallery

Set of 4 Spark Plug Caps

Features:

• High quality replacement plug caps
• Built-in 5K ohms resistor per original specs
• Waterproof design complete with boots for each end
• 102 degree elbow, long style - for 12mm or 10mm thread spark plugs with terminal stud
• I now supply NGK model #XD05FP with improved waterproof boots.

• Available! The Honda part (#30701-371-000 and similar have been superceded by #30700-MC8-000) is frequently "out of stock."
• Affordable! The current list price for one OEM Honda cap is $20.45 each!

Installation Notes:

• These can be used "as is"
• For a better fit with the OEM splash seals, I recommend that you consider carefully filing off the NGK logos. Once the logos are removed, you can touch-up the logo area with high-temp, glossy black paint (I use caliper paint).

Note: These caps are an excellent replacement for any 1975-1979 GL1000 or 1980-1981 GL1100. Not for 1982 or later GL1100.
