This is the same timing light I use in my shop when I perform the split timing method detailed here:Click here

Features:

• Suitable for setting the static ignition timing on any motorcycle with a battery / coil ignition that uses breaker points. This means that it is not "self-powered," so it's not for use on magneto equipped bikes. Likewise, not for high energy electronic ignitions.
• Bulb is rated for 3-16 Volts
• Bulb is rated for 10,000 hours
• 18 gauge wire leads with insulated alligator clips
• Fully insulated, rugged aluminum case
• Clip retainer to organize leads for storage
• Red lens is shown above - light shipped will have red, green or blue lens.
