I GET WAY TOO MANY EMAILS EVERY DAY! Even my truck has the unmitigated gall to send me emails! Unfortunately, I can't respond with lengthy replies to all of them. I get a very high volume of email and my memory is not perfect. Please include the entire, prior email "thread" with each communication to me. Usually, hitting reply to my most recent email to you will accomplish this.

I respond to many emails, only to have them bounce back as undeliverable...nothing I can do in these cases unless you've provided an alternative means of contact. Possible reasons include:

• Your inbox is full
• Your corporate email system blocks mail from my domain (HotMail)
• Your junk mail filter blocks mail from my domain (HotMail)
• You've set up an auto-forwarding rule that's broken
• You're spoofing me with a bogus return email address

Please note that I am way too busy to fill out Spam Blocker Approval Request Forms. If your email service requires this diabolical stupidity and you want to receive emails from me, you will need to add me to your approved correspondent list yourself.

Forum Participation

There are a number of good Forums that focus on the classic Hondas like the GL1000, GL1100, GL1200, CX500 and CBX that I favor. Some excellent Forums are listed here. Although I monitor many Forums, I am an active participant in only a select few.

My participation is limited because I'm very busy and...

• Many experts reside on these Forums and they do an excellent job sharing helpful information.
• Most questions have been answered before...a search of Forum Archives will usually yield the answer you seek.
• Unfortunately, a few forums lack effective moderation.
• Generally, everything of consequence that I feel compelled to say is documented on this website.
• I believe all forums should exist for fellowship, camaraderie and information sharing. I try to conduct my activities in that spirit.
• I never have a problem when people disagree with me publicly so long as they stick to the issues as I try to do.
• If you feel personally offended by anything I ever write, read it again. You are most likely mistaken. If you still feel that way, let me know. I do not intentionally make such mistakes.
• On rare occasions my views are distorted or misrepresented by others. I don't have any appetite for such conversations. My views are well-documented here. If you have a question about my view on anything that's not clear, ask me. I will freely tell you what I think and why. It's completely up to you to decide for yourself if you agree.
• A few Administrators go out of their way to discourage my involvement because I'm deemed to have overtly commercial interests. I consider this a very wrong-headed point of view.
• I generally respond on Forum discussions when there is a unique new question, someone has gotten bad advice or misinformation has been posted about one of my products. I don't troll for business on Forums.

Bikes that I've wrenched on routinely sell for significant premiums. Word to the wise…I'm aware of one recent transaction involving a bike where the seller claimed my personal involvement. This was not the case!

Recently, there has been a rash of bikes being sold via the Internet that claimed that my Master Kit or other products had been purchased and installed on the bike offered for sale. The facts spoke otherwise. Demand proper documentation from sellers who reference me in any way. Please feel contact me to verify claims of this nature.
