Honda GL1100 Engine Parts
One maintenance chore every motorcycle owner shares is keeping engine oil fresh and clean, but this job is even more vital when maintaining or restoring a vintage Gold Wing. The 30-year-old components inside these engines rely on their lifeblood (oil), and it shouldn’t make them work any harder than necessary. However, adding supercharging, turbocharging or nitrous oxide injection pushes GL1100 engine components to their limits. When adding an oil cooler to smooth out operation on a modified Gold Wing, consider installing Randakk’s GL1100 oil filter conversion kit. This little miracle allows the Gold Wing owner to use convenient, spin-on oil filters, while still allowing the use of an oil cooler. The stock GL1100 oil filter housing is eliminated, along with the inevitable messes it leaves behind. Cleaner, cooler and more effective, that’s what a Gold Wing engine mod should provide.
