The "Shorty" line is just the basic stainless steel open cone muffler shortened down to a 12" overall length. This minimized size gives this performance cone serious versatility. Easily installed and small enough to tuck away or boldly finish off any system, this open cone has become the garage builders favorite! Similar to it's 18" brother and the Quiet-er Core cans, these Shortys have a 1:1 inlet to exhaust ratio. That means performance is geared towards the bottom end and the mid-range. This 1:1 ratio also makes for easier tuning, something your carb. guy will thank you for!
