Air Filter - Pod - 50mm - Oval

Ditch that clunky air-box and allow your bike to breathe! These pod filters will fit carburetor intakes with an outside diameter of 50mm. Measure the Outside Diameter (OD) of your carburetor intake before ordering this product. Unlike some filters on the market - these use a molded boot and filter base that isn't constrained with a huge lip on the inside to affect the ports on the carb body.

Individual pod filters are often used as a replacement for the stock airbox. These oval shaped filters have more surface area than the cone shaped filters - so they allow more air to flow through them. That is important on higher revving engines to avoid running rich at high RPM.

Note: Removing the airbox removes support for the rear of the carburetors - and that can create issues with all the weight of the carbs bouncing up and down if they are not supported with a bracket or something similar. The weight of carb when combined with the weight of the filters will destroy carb holders far too quickly if the carbs are left unsupported.
