Float Needle Valve Retainer - GL1000 - Pkg 4

Honda GL1000 float valve retainers are precision stamped from stainless steel and incorporate the proper tension arc geometry.

On the OEM clips - Honda settled for a type of metal "bluing" which is a chemical process similar to the methods used on firearms. This provided a fairly solid film which absorbs oil and so holds a protective film on the surface. Exposure to gasoline is fine, but if you get water in the carbs for extended periods the bluing on the OEM clips will eventually rust anyway.

Our stainless steel clips should last a lifetime and virtually eliminate corrosion risk.

Set of 4 retainers. These clips are not generally available from Honda.
